The unbalanced motors are the most frequently used drives for vibrating equipment. They are used in nearly all Küttner vibrating machine types.
Unbalanced motors are three-phase, asynchronous motors with centrifugal weights, which are attached to the ends of the motor shafts. The size of the unbalance, and with it the amplitude of the oscillation by the working unit, can be adjusted by shifting the centrifugal weights when the motor is not in operation.A stable and rigid motor shaft and long-life roller bearings allow for continuous operation of the unbalanced motors even under heavy duty operating conditions.
The unbalanced motors are supplied in 2-, 4-, 6- and 8-pole versions. This means the motor speed, and therefore the oscillation frequency, can be ideally selected to suit each particular application
